Why adsense doesn’t show us any ads?
Google adsense
Next to placing banners on your weblog the most obvious online profit would be an advertising program. Like I said in an earlier post, we got an google adsense account based on another website I run: BLDD. BLDD has nothing to do with making money online. BLDD concentrates on exhibitions and customization.
Implementing adsense on 100000eurohomepage is easy with a nifty plug-in for wordpress called adsense deluxe. It saves you a lot of copy+pasting in the future.
No ads
So I activated the plug-in and inserted an adsense code block in one of our post. Not surprisingly adsense didn’t show any ads. I guess this has to do with the low web traffic at the moment and not being indexed by the major search engines.
Those public service ads (PSA) aren’t very beautiful so I looked for a solution on google’s support pages and found alternate ads. I have chosen for google’s 4th suggestion: Collapsing ad units. This will shrink the ad units instead of showing PSAs.
Hiding invisible ads
After downloading google_adsense_script.html and uploading this file into the main directory of 100000eurohomepage.com I didn’t see the PSA any more.
This job is done now we need more visitors
