Our quest to make a 100000 euros online

A very lazy and easy money making idea is a donation button. So I signed up at Paypal and created a simple donation button. Every donated dollar would bring me closer to fulfill my quest . For those who make a donation I will add your url on our homepage if you wish.

Remember I posted a wild idea to invest in shares. Now I have found a post on one of google discussion groups (which I also posted) about investing in a film. The movie maker is selling shares at £0.99 ( $ 1.75) and has 25,000 shares for sale.

A couple of things to check first before investing $1.75

• is it a scam
• what’s the film about
• when do we get our investment back

I have sent the movie maker an email and I will keep you all up to date.

Just some ideas that popped up and need to be written down. Nothing fancy:

1. Online gamble with x € (for example: Jelle Klaassen paid 100:1)
2. Online investments in internet related companies (can you buy a share for $1.12)
3. Online bank account (does paypal pay interest?)

All ideas implies money first, as the saying goes “Money makes money”, right?

EDIT: saw this on one of the adsense on our blog “Get paid to take surveys”. Could be a possibility or is this a major spam scam? Pitty I can’t click our own adsense ads so I search google for that. I should find one where I can have a google ads coupon in return of taken a survey

First money making product?

Placing banners on your weblog is an obvious potential profit maker. The hard part would be selling your banners to customers especially if you are a start-up. In fact setting a price and a period for banner placement isn’t easy either. By selling 10 banners for 1000 €/month our quest will end in 10 months or better yet selling 10 banners for 10000 €

Back on earth

Meanwhile back on earth I had an idea about placing banners on 100000eurohomepage and setting the price(s). My idea is inspired by a couple of things:

• Technology adoption life cycle

different prices during our quest

• Eyetracking

different prices for different banner placement

• onemilliondollarhomepage and all the rip offs

People expect a bunch of graphics/banners if they go to a $$$$$$$$$hompage URL

• e-bay.com

here you can sell everything including banners. Drawback however is the fee you need to pay. So we can use this selling channel only after we make some kind of revenue. (Remember on of our rules: zero budget). But I did use ebay to check for a banner period.

First off the use of this weblog. We aren’t thinking this blog can earn us a 100.000 euros but this weblog will be our headquarters where we write done our stories and give our linkups to place on the internet where we do sell products/services.

Hoping this weblog will be read a lot, I am planning the following obvious revenue makers:

1. Google adsense (got an account over there)
2. Banners
3. Yahoo ads
4. Chitika eMiniMalls

Furthermore, I will use google’s affiliate program. I myself browse around with Firefox and planning to use adsense so why not share it with the world. Another affiliate program I want to look into is Amazon.
